SCHOOL AUTHOR VISIT

I had the pleasure this week of visiting Sikeside Primary School for an author visit.

The children were fantastic, and they were so excited to see Daisie in person. We had a quiz session to start with, where the children had fun answering some questions on dachshund facts, they hopefully learned a few interesting things about the breed.

We played a few games too! The sniff the poo game went down a treat, and everyone was happy to get involved and cheer their team on.

The teachers were fantastic too, and even took part in the gargling a doggy related song game, though I think maybe they need much more practise!

I was very impressed that the children had been creating some Daisie works of art, I was delighted to see some wonderful colouring-in with lots of bright vibrant colours.

All the children enjoyed the book read, and I had some willing volunteers to hold the book pages open.

Daisie enjoyed her school visit so much, she was made to feel very welcome, and got lots of attention both from the children and the fabulous teachers at Sikeside Primary School.

I hope all the children and staff have a wonderful Christmas, and that the Daisie The Dapple Dachshund might be in a few stockings this year!
